Just signed in for the first time and it looks nice, but what am I supposed to do here?
Guess the idea with this community is to be some kinda real-world-digg, or? Or maybe I can blog here? Yeah, well that could be the case. Maybe my posts will not end up on the hot list, or not even on the diss list, but others can follow me from my personal page and comment on my posts. So is this a one-fits-all digg/blog/twitter thing?

I promise to follow your blog posts sanchez ;-)
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a “follow this” feature here to have users you like to read in a quick list or something? Maybe not “add friend” but more like “stalk this user”.

Jill, That’s a great idea.
Why don’t you enter that idea as a Thing of it’s own and let the like/dissers vote on it. That way, the like/diss team will know better what the members really appreciate that we do next.

Don’t know when they will release the “fuck buddy” relation type.

You are rather right, Sanchez. like/diss is really what you want it to be. Until now, it’s mainly about expresing your views on things, comparing them to those of others and to find new stuff liked by others who you have a lot in common with. Like if you find someone who seems to like three artists that you also like, but actually list some others you haven’t heard of. Then just follow any links that member hopefully has provided and you may find new music to like.
But to use like/diss as some kind of blog may not be all that impossible although it isn’t really intended for that. We haven’t paid that much attention to when you write something, so chronology may not be that easy to follow. Of course, you could use like/diss for “today’s favorite thing”. That would be sort of blog-like.
Later, maybe we could take up Jills idea of friendly “stalking”. Depending on how members like that idea.

On the other hand. You could get some blog-feel from the post by Bjebeje here: http://www.likediss.com/things/view/499
Since the “I Created” tab on your member page actually is sorted chronologically (latest at the top), it actually could be used as a mini-blog, twitter-style.
To really make it work we would have to let Jill get her page numbering ( http://www.likediss.com/things/view/423 ) also on the member pages.
