Staying overnight in Death Valley is a special experience. There are two lodging offers, Furnace Creek and Stovepipe Wells. The first is a larger place while the latter is out in the wild. That being said, Stovepipe Wells is a comfortable place to stay with a nice restaurant and decent rooms.

Don’t miss Devils Cornfield nearby Stovepipe Wells. It looks like this:

You’ll pass it if you’re coming from the east a couple of minutes before you arrive at Stovepipe.

And while your out there, drive some 20 minutes east to Badwater. A salt dessert 282 feet below sea level. It is the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere.
