A seaside town on the Tuscany coast, http://tinyurl.com/san-vincenzo. Lots of tourists, but most of them domestic. Few foreigners. Apparently, an unusually big proportion of the beach is free-for-all and does not require you to pay some €10-15 for an umbrella and a sun bed or two. Quite a few restaurants, all of them with menus dominated by seafood. Apparently one of Italy’s most famous restaurants, Gambero Rosso, is located there, but we never found it.
